A tractor trailer that caught fire shut down Interstate 79 for several hours early Saturday morning.
According to the Marion County Sheriff's Department, deputies said the tractor trailer was traveling southbound near mile markers 129 and 130 just before 2:30 a.m. when it slid into the left lane and crashed into the guardrail.
The tractor trailer then caught on fire. Two other vehicles were also involved in the accident. Luckily, no one was hurt.
There's no word on what caused the fire, but deputies said icy road conditions are to blame for the accident.
Both north and southbound lanes were shut down as emergency crews cleaned up the scene. However, both lanes are now open.
The Marion County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
