Update: I-79 now reopened following tractor trailer fire

I-79 south bound has been reopened.

Multiple crews responded to the scene of an accident involving a tractor trailer and one other vehicle, Thursday morning.
According to 911 dispatchers, the incident happened just before 7 am near mile marker 136 on I-79 in the south bound lanes. The tractor trailer caught fire as a result of the incident.
No one was injured in the accident. However, the interstate is temporarily shut down, south bound in that area. There is no word on how long the closure will last.
The Pleasant Valley Fire Department and the Marion County Sheriffs Department are handling the investigation.
