UPDATE: All lanes open on I-79 after a tractor trailer rollover

HARRISON COUNTY, W. Va. (WDTV)-- (UPDATE @ 11:30 p.m. 5/17/2019)
All lanes of I-79 southbound near mile marker 112 are reopened as of 11:15 p.m. Friday night.

ORIGINAL STORY:
A tractor trailer rolled over Friday afternoon southbound on I-79 at mile marker 112 near the Lost Creek exit

Traffic is currently down to one lane.

When the tractor trailer rolled over it lost the load it was carrying where it then damaged the road, and rolled over the embankment into the woods.

When WDTV arrived on scene crews were cutting the cargo out of the trees.

Fortunately the driver of the truck was not hurt.

The cause of the accident is currently unknown.

West Virginia State Police are investigating the accident.
