MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) -- Two Monongalia County men have been arrested after they were caught on a surveillance camera breaking into a hotel.
According to the criminal complaint, a burglary was reported Friday at the Scholar Hotel in Morgantown. Officials say surveillance video showed the men going through a storage room that they had forced their way into. The men then saw the camera and left.
The men were identified as 28-year-old Anthony Gaskill, of Morgantown, and 37-year-old Jeremy Williams, of Westover and later found at a Sheetz. According to police, Gaskill admitted to taking a scarf from the hotel.
Both men were arrested and charged with entering without breaking and conspiracy.
