Two charged after traffic stop leads to discovery of 600 oxycodone pills

MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) -- Two people have been charged after a traffic stop led to the discovery of 600 Oxycodone pills.

According to the criminal complaint, an officer pulled over a car speeding on Interstate 79 in Monongalia County Friday, when marijuana was found in the car.

Passengers Mario White, of Detroit, Michigan, and Tyrone Wyatt-Smith of Richmond, Kentucky, admitted that the marijuana was theirs.

Officials say Smith and White were taken into custody and that 600 oxycodone pills were found on White when the men were searched.

White is charged with possession with intent to deliver. Wyatt-Smith is charged with conspiracy to deliver.
