Two from Taylor County charged after meth found near children

HARRISON COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) -- Two people from Taylor County have been charged with child neglect after methamphetamine was found near children.

According to the criminal complaint, Tyler Rouzee and Katherine Matthews were found asleep in their vehicle Thursday with children in the back seat.

Officials say Rouzee and Matthews were woken up and a probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle. Officers found containers of meth in the vehicle within access of the children.

Officials say the incident occurred in Clarksburg.
