UPSHUR COUNTY, W. Va. (WDTV) - Dozens of students in Upshur County had a chance to show their knowledge in history, and current events during their first social studies fair on Saturday.
Students from elementary school all the way to high school filled the Brushy Fork Conference Center, to show the judges what they have researched.
Some students displayed their knowledge on history, while others focused in geography, and other topics.
Judges graded them based on the information they had and their knowledge, and whoever received the score of 90 or higher, they qualified to compete with other students in the state.
That fair will take place in March.
