A video taken during Nutter Fort Primary School's Thanksgiving play has received a lot of attention on social media.

The full video is available under Related Links. However, we have chosen not to feature the full video directly on our website out of concern for the other children visible in the remainder of that video.

Here are a few of the reactions we have received on the WDTV 5 News Facebook page.

Christy Baxter: Im tired of people in "positions of trust" mentally and emotionally abusing our children. This little boy had every right to participate in that play with his peers. My worse thought was...if she thought that was ok in front of a room full of people then how does she treat kids behind closed doors. Is it ok for this lady to show his classmates that it is ok to bully children? No its not ok and im so glad this matter is getting the public's atttention. Im furious over this!!

Brittany Swisher Singhass: I'm just glad this video has gotten to you. Now hopefully something will be done to punish this teacher for her actions. If this is what she does in a room full of parents and faculty, imagine how she treats that child when she's the only one in the classroom!

Lauren Ashley Thomas: What makes me sick is the group of people laughing and then the children begin to laugh because they see that it is 'okay'. We should be better role models for our youth.

Cassi Stalnaker: This is terrible. She does not deserve to be in the school system. I have an autistic son. I couldn't imagine this happening to him. My heart breaks for him and his family. I wish there was something I could do. I know my opinion isn't much but this is more than unacceptable. I can't believe any one would defend her.

5 News is working to reach out to school officials and will have the report Wednesday night on First at 5.
