WV Treasury office accepting submissions for handling of medical cannabis funds

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WDTV) -- The West Virginia State Treasury Office has released a Request for Proposal in a search of a bank to manage funds for the state's medical cannabis program.

Potential vendors can submit proposals to be considered until 1 p.m. on June 5th. The chosen vendor must be able to provide deposit, disbursement and receipt processes for funds related to the program.

The vendor will be chosen based off a combination of cost and determining factors outlined in the RFP, which can be found at the Related Link.

Once all submissions are received, a committee will score them to determine the winning bid.

Information requests regarding the RFP and proposals can be sent to wilma.harrison@wvsto.com. It's recommended that vendors check the WV Treasury website frequently to keep up with any changes.
