West Virginia University College of Law hosted the National Energy Conference Saturday.
The conference was organized so scientists and anyone interested in climate change could come learn more about what they can do to help the planet.
There were talks and lectures throughout the day. It was also a good way for people to network withing the climate change community and see what careers are available.
"We're showing all of these career paths that climate change is creating. you know, we have to solve the problem of climate change, it's not going to happen by it self and many people are finding their careers in that" said Nation Energy Conference organizer Tom Rodd.
The National Energy Conference has been an annual event for seven years and plans to continue in 2019.
