WVU FallFest and FoodFest event, traffic restrictions announced

Traffic restrictions have been announced for West Virginia University’s FallFest and FoodFest events, will take place Tuesday, Aug. 16 on the Evansdale Campus in the CPASS/Student Health Parking Lot. FallFest will include performances by Mac Miller, Flosstradamus and Cold War Kids. Certain traffic restrictions and event restrictions apply. This is an alcohol-free event. Event-goers should note that no smoking will be permitted in accordance with WVU’s tobacco-free campus policy. Gates will open at 3 p.m. and the concert is scheduled from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. These events are rain or shine.
ROAD CLOSURES
Rec Center Drive - CLOSED Tuesday noon to Wednesday 12 a.m.
PARKING
Parking will be available in WVU Short Term Lot ST9.
EVENT ENTRANCES
Gate 1 – Between the CPASS Building and the Student Rec Center
Gate 2 – Rec Center Drive at the entrance to CPASS/Student Health Parking Lot
WVU Students with valid WVU IDs are permitted one guest age 17 and older. WVU Students with guests may enter any gate. Guest tickets are not required, but guests should be prepared to show proof of age. WVU IDs will be scanned at the gates. Students are encouraged to check with Mountaineer Card Services to be sure their IDs are working properly.
Buses will run between Mountainlair and Evansdale Crossing continuously from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. The PRT will run until 10:15 p.m. FallFest is produced by WVU Arts & Entertainment.
