WVU holds physics festival

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WDTV)-- WVU's physics department held a physics festival for all ages to enjoy. The event had open tours of different labs, planetarium showings throughout the day, guest speakers and lectures on science.

The event was in White Hall and was in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Moon landing.

Along with the events, students say that there is a lot to do at the festival and that it is open for anyone with any science background.

"They're using the telescopes and the planetarium at the top of the building," said Hunter Moore, student at WVU. "As well as bringing in a lot of guest lectures."
