UPDATE: Hearing date for man charged with murdering wife likely to be set by end of week
According to a Taylor County Prosecuting Attorney, a hearing date for John Hess will most likely be set by the end of this week.

According to authorities, John Hess, who was on house arrest, fatally shot his wife with a 12-gauge shotgun Sunday morning.
The couples 1 1/2-year-old daughter was also home at the time of the crime, but was not hurt.
Hess was arraigned Sunday and charged with murder. Hess will be held without bail pending his probable cause hearing, which has yet to be scheduled.
The couple had recently moved into the house in Flemington.
After the shooting, authorities said Hess went to his parents home in Grafton, told them what he had done, and then called police to notify them of the situation.
At the crime scene, police found several guns, as well as an empty shotgun shell on the floor near a bed.
The victim worked in Braxton County. Hess was on house arrest due to a prior driving revoked case.
A woman was shot and killed in Flemington early Sunday morning and her husband is in custody.
According to the Taylor County Sheriff's Department, John Hess, 47, is accused of fatally shooting his wife, Abigail Hess, 38, on 45 High Street in Flemington.
Authorities believe Hess used a shotgun to shoot the woman around 12:30 a.m.
Hess is currently being held at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
