Black Bears Fall Short Against Scrappers, 7-4

The Black Bears scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to trim the Scrapper lead to three, but could not complete the full comeback as West Virginia (3-3) dropped its second game of its six game home stand, 7-4.

West Virginia will meet Mahoning Valley (4-2) in the rubber match of the series tomorrow night at 6:35 p.m. at Mon County Ballpark.
