Brown: Mountaineers "Significantly Better" Than in Spring

The Mountaineers opened up 2019 preseason camp on Friday morning, the first under Coach Neal Brown.

With the addition of six transfers along with welcoming in the rookie class, Coach Brown says the WVU is "significantly better" than they were during spring ball.

"We weren't as good as we needed to be in the spring," Brown said. "We are significantly better as a team right now than we were when we finished in the spring. A lot of that credit goes to [Director of Strength & Conditioning] Mike Joseph & his staff, and a lot of that credit goes to some of our leadership on our football team because they got quality work in over the summer."

West Virginia football is back on the practice field tomorrow, and will host Fan Day at Milan Puskar Stadium beginning at 10 a.m.
