Brown Embracing Challenges of Big 12 in Return to Conference

Neal Brown's first appearance as a head coach at Big 12 Media day is in the books in Arlington, Texas.

Brown is returning to the conference for the first time in seven years. He was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Texas Tech from 2010-2012. The Red Raiders had one of the top seven offenses in the country during his tenure in Lubbock.

Brown knows that the offensive powerhouse that is the Big 12 has grown and evolved since he left the conference. He has got his work cut out for him in that capacity as well as West Virginia's strong 2019 schedule.

The Mountaineers are one of just four schools that will play 11 Power 5 opponents this upcoming season. The others are Boston College, Purdue and Stanford.
