Former Black Bear Kevin Newman Promoted to Pirates

Kevin Newman's call to the show has finally come. The former Black Bear and 2015 first round pick was promoted today by Pittsburgh Pirates. During the 2015 season, he became the first first-round pick to wear a Black Bears uniform, playing in 38 games during the team's inaugural season. Newman hit .302 and stole 28 bases With Triple A Indianapolis this year.
