Former Razorback Osabuohien Announces Transfer to WVU

Former Arkansas Razorback forward Gabe Osabuohien announced on Twitter on Monday night that he will transfer to West Virginia. The Toronto native was dismissed from the Razorbacks on August 15 for undisclosed reasons.

Arkansas head coach Eric Musselman said in a statement last Thursday, "We have set a level of expectations for our student-athletes on and off the court. After discussions with Gabe, it was decided that it would be best to part ways. We thank him for his time at Arkansas and wish him well."

Osabuohien played in 54 games with 8 starts in two seasons in Fayetteville. He played 15 minutes per game and averaged 3.1 points and 3.2 rebounds in the 2018-19 season for Arkansas. Osabuohien will likely have to redshirt for the upcoming season and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
