Manoah Breaks Single Season K Record, WVU Downs GW, 10-1

Alek Manoah entered No. 17 West Virginia's game against George Washington needing 3 strikeouts to break the 55-year old single season record of 123. He struck out 4 for good measure to set the record and left the game to a heroes ovation after just 3.2 innings. The Mountaineers went on to beat George Washington, 10-1.

Darius Hill also made history tonight, setting the Mountaineer career doubles record with his 74th.

As for the game, the Mountaineers broke for seven runs in the third inning to take an 8-1 lead and never looked back.
