Morgantown Bounces Back with 14-0 at Wheeling Park in Game 2

After falling to Wheeling Park 3-2 in game 1 of the region championship on Monday, Morgantown bounced back in a big way, defeating the Patriots 14-0 in 5 innings on Tuesday evening.

The two teams will meet in a decisive game 3 tomorrow at Mylan Park a 5 p.m., with the winner moving on to the state tournament.

Morgantown broke for 5 runs in the top of the first inning, and that set the tone for the rest of the contest. Caleb Taylor, who said after the game that he loves pitching with a lead, threw a no-hitter in 5 inning game with 4 strikeouts.
