Some new faces were on display at today's shootout. Bridgeport transfer John Ross Mazza suited up for the Hawks and knocked down some triples for the defending state champions.
For Morgantown, Troy Battle started for the Mohigans after missing all of the 2018-19 season with an injury. Rising junior forward Carson Poffenberger made his presence felt in the middle as he looks to fill WVU football bound Nick Malone's shoes in the 2019-2020 season.
