Morgantown's Anderson Formally Introduced as Fairmont State WBB Head Coach

Morgantown native Stephanie Anderson was formally introduced as Fairmont State women's basketball head coach today at the Feaster Center. She becomes the seventh head coach in Falcon history.

Anderson served as lead assistant under coach Steve McDonald for past 5 seasons.

She played college basketball at Cal U and made 82 starts for the Vulcans. She helped guide Cal U to three NCAA Tournament appearances during her career, and was a four-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete.

Anderson was a three-year standout on the basketball team at Morgantown High. She won a state championship during her sophomore year in 2007 and earned all-conference, all-state, and state player of the year honors in 2009 following her senior season.
