Hot Start & Well-Rounded Effort Key No. 13 WVU by Iowa State

No. 13 West Virginia (18-4, 6-3 in Big 12) notched five players in double figures and shot 50-percent from the field as the Mountaineers cruised to a 76-61 victory over Iowa State (18-4, 6-3 in Big 12) on Wednesday night.

Oscar Tshiebwe had 16 points and 10 rebounds for his eighth career double-double while Chase Harler added 14. Derek Culver & Emmitt Matthews Jr. each had 12 and Jermaine Haley added 11 with 5 assists.

Rasir Bolton had a game-high 18 points for the Cyclones.

West Virginia will hit the road to play Oklahoma on Saturday before returning home to host Kansas next Wednesday.
