Trinity Christian School announces return of high school football program

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WDTV) -- Trinity Christian School announced Wednesday that they will be reviving their high school football program after a 5-year hiatus. The Warriors will compete in Class A of the WVSSAC beginning in 2019.

Marcus Law has been selected to coach the Warriors, who currently have seven games on their schedule. Officials say they are working to get the number of games to 10.

Law is a former defensive back for West Virginia University, and holds both his bachelor's and masters degree from WVU. He has been an assistant coach for Matt Lacy at Morgantown high school for the past three seasons on defense, and also served as an assistant basketball coach at Trinity for the past three years.

The schedule includes three home games, with the season kick-off against Mapletown, PA on August 30th.
