Turnovers Haunt WVU in 42-31 Loss to No. 11 Texas

WVU had four turnovers and No. 11 Texas capitalized en route to a 42-31 victory over the Mountaineers Saturday. With the loss, West Virginia drops to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in Big 12 play.

Austin Kendall completed 31 of 46 passes for 367 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions. T.J. Simmons led WVU with seven receptions for 135 yards and a touchdown. The Mountaineers outgained Texas in total yards, 463-427.

West Virginia hosts Iowa State next Saturday at 4 p.m.
