WVU Edges Pitt, 5-4 in Front of Program-Record Crowd

In front of a program-record crowd of 3,487, WVU baseball defeated Pitt 5-4 at Monongalia County Ballpark.

Kevin Brophy went 1-for-2 with 3 RBIs and a run scored. Paul McIntosh went 2-for-4. Zach Ottinger earned the win throwing two scoreless inning while Sam Kessler recorded his fifth save of the year.

The Mountaineers (17-11 overall, 2-4 Big 12) will be back in action Friday at Oklahoma State. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
