After missing all but two West Virginia football spring practices, rising senior wide receiver Marcus Simms is looking to transfer from the Mountaineers.
A source from WVU Athletics confirmed to WDTV that Simms had entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal on Monday.
Simms registered 87 career receptions for 1,457 yards and eight touchdowns in his three years in Morgantown. Last season, he was West Virginia's third-most productive receiver with 46 catches for 699 yards and two touchdowns.
Redshirt junior T.J. Simmons is now West Virginia's most productive returner in the receiving core. Simmons had 28 catches for 341 yards and a touchdown in 2018.
