West Virginia Baseball Walked Off in Waco, 6-5

Marques Inman had a career-high 5 RBIs, including a 2-run home run in the first inning but it was not enough as West Virginia (13-8, 0-1) fell to Baylor (14-6, 1-0), 6-5, in its Big 12 opener in Waco.

The Mountaineers took a 5-3 lead in the 5th inning on an 3-RBI double from Inman, but the Bears rallied and scored runs in the seventh, eighth and ninth innings to win it.

WVU and Baylor will meet again for Game 2 of the series tomorrow at 2 p.m.
