Wetzel County school closed due to drought conditions

PINE GROVE, W.Va (WDTV) - A school in Wetzel County will be closed the rest of this week due to water issues.

In a post on the Wetzel County Schools Facebook page, officials said Valley High School will be remote on Thursday and Friday due to a lack of water from the drought conditions.

School officials said they will update students and parents in regard to next week over the weekend.

In an additional Facebook post, officials provided information on how children can still obtain food while the school is closed.
