Buckhannon neighborhood flooded again after state attempts to fix the problem
Some residents are not pleased with efforts by the state as another flood congests their street
BUCKHANNON, W.Va (WDTV) - A Buckhannon neighborhood is once again facing a major flooding issue.
After heavy rain fall, residents of Morgan Addition street woke up Tuesday morning to another flood. 5 news spoke to residents throughout the neighborhood and they said officials cleaned up the original flood.
However, some residents are not pleased with the work that has been done to officially end this problem the street has had for many years. An anonymous resident issued the following statement to 5 news.
“I’m ashamed of what the state has done to help us. When the fire marshal and news came they did something, but today other than moving their equipment they haven’t done anything but make promises.”
