Barrackville Police Chief Freeburn resigns

BARRACKVILLE, W.Va (WDTV) - The Barrackville Police Department announced that Police Chief Zachary Freeburn has resigned, effective immediately.

The department says Sergeant Hunt will serve as the officer in charge “until further notice” to ensure continued operations.

Anyone with questions about the transition is asked to address them in person during the next Barrackville Town Council meeting, according to the department.
